Hey girls I’m Fox and this is day 8 of my FAT LOSS 4 IDIOTS reality diet report. Today is February 7′th, and I’m going to lose 11 Pounds in 20 days. I don’t feel like weighing myself today, so hold your breath until tomorrow, but we’re doing great, so far I’ve lost 3.3 Pounds in 7 days.
Yesterday I gave you some of the fat burning foods- foods that promote fat burning hormones in our body. let’s go over them again- Law fat dairy products, and berries- Blueberries, strawberries ETC.
There are so many more Fat burning foods out there, and we’re going to go over them tomorrow.
Today I’m going to tell you about the foods that prevent fat burning hormones in your body. now Sugar is your number one enemy, and if you want to burn fat and get rid of the extra fat in your body, you’ve got to start regulating your blood sugar levels. because if your blood sugar is high, your body has no choice but to release a hormone called insulin, and insulin signals your body to store fat. now every time you eat bad carbs, you get that insulin peak, and that’s how you end up storing lots of fats.
but there’s even more bad news- insulin takes your blood sugar from a high to an extreme low, and then you get hungry, you have cravings, and you get all tired and sleepy. Now don’t get me wrong here. Our body needs to release insulin, but the thing is, most people are releasing way too much insulin so what you need to know, is which foods won’t give your body an insulin peak, and include them in your weight loss program.
The problem is that many foods are disguised as health foods- whole wheat breads, healthy cereals, law fat salad dressings, but they all quickly turn to sugar in your body.
So you need to know the foods that give you an insulin peak and avoid them And for that, you’ve gotta start reading the labels.
Now not all carbohydrates are bad. your body needs carbs for energy, but we need to make sure we’re eating the right carbs, that don’t give us an insulin peak.
Tomorrow we’re going to learn all about the good carbs. And how to read the ingredients list and buy only the foods that won’t give you that insulin peak- because insulin peak makes your body store fat!!!
